- The size of district town Hohenstein-Ernstthal lies at the slope of the 479 metres of high "Pfaffenberg", in the idyllic ore mountain before country. With the car:
On the motorway A4 Eisenach - Görlitz, exit Hohenstein - Ernstthal, leave you the motorway. Follow the federal motorway 180 direction Oberlungwitz, Lichtenstein and bend you at the second crossing "Heiterer Blick" toward Hohenstein-Er.. to the left off. After few hundred metres you see on the right your goal: the allotment plant, which gave its name to our restaurant - "Kühler Grund". To the parking lot you turn please right.
With public means of transport:
With the railway you reach Hohenstein - Er. from the direction Dresden or Zwickau. City traffic line 1 brings which lines bring to 124 or 125, you from there in scarcely 5 minutes up to the stop Talstrasse/Röhrensteig, and with few steps you reach then our restaurant.

- Not only for the engine haven fans from all over the world, those annually to the Motorcycle Grand Prix on the "Sachsenring" journeys, offers our city the friends to adventure of the writer Karl May born here finds many interesting and worth seeing much, also.
Our city offers many leisure and recovery possibilities for active holiday-makers and for all guests, who want to enjoy nature purely. A part of the city lies in the landscape protection area "Rabensteiner Wald/Pfaffenberg". From the Pfaffenberg, one can see with good view, up to the Fichtelberg. From here one can undertake or to a daily trip to Dresden, and in the close “Erzgebirge” break migrations open to popular trip goals.
- 1842 were born here Karl May. Its birth house accomodates today a small museum, which about lives and working Karl May informs. At the Kiefernberg interested visitors in addition the Karl- May cave, its former place of refuge before the police can visit.
- Stroll even just relaxing by the surrounding us, beautiful small garden. The small garden "Kühler Grund" was founded in 1947, and offers her garden friends many ways of operating and recovery.
